Lever holder was my first inclination. Now I have new detent springs and balls but you can also see how the slot is deformed by the lever pushing forward. I guess I am getting the picture of how noisy and drafty these things are. I figure reducing any rattles (speedo grommet?) would help but could be a losing proposition. Thanks more questions to come.
