It was not my favorite part either. Lots of good ideas here. Like everyone said, after a while you realize it's all fixable and just start going for it, because at the end of the day all hands on is the only way to really understand it all.
I should have probably spent more time working the metal on mine but hey, I'll get more experience if I get to do it again!
