Sorry, Eric......with all the 1957 written all over this thing I incorrectly assumed it was a 57......it is not.....the L CODE clearly makes it a 58...... However, you now have a firm date on when when they were building w100 1958 townies in 1957......... Possibly between this doc. And the ones you already have....you can further narrow down the 57 dates of production???? Hope this helps some...... .L6wL07620 Ship date was 11/19/57. Not 11/12/57 as previously stated. However 10/25/57 build date is accurate.
