The only one I've seen that looked worth a darn to me was a 70 Impala wagon with 1/2 ton 4x4 axles under it. Just a little taller than stock, stock size tires and wheels with poverty caps. Done well enough that you could almost believe it had come that way without the usual low hanging frame, mismatched wheelbase etc.
