I would get the parts and do it all since its out. return spring is needed for proper function. clutch linkage will never bind because of the way its designed but it sure makes the clutch work easier and with less effort when the bushings are in good shape. do you have a service manual? A must IMO. then small things like the return spring don't get left out. ;/)
