Kenly 95 is part of the Iowa 80 Group that began in 1964 with the opening of a small Standard Oil Station along the, then incomplete, Interstate 80 highway outside of Walcott Iowa, near the Quad Cities - Davenport and Bettendorf Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline Illinois. The current Iowa 80 truckstop at Walcott is still the largest in the country, includes a WDX Power-Wagon on display, and the impressive Iowa 80 Trucking Museum.

I first saw the "Kenly" Power Wagon at the 6th Vintage Power Wagon Rally in Fairfield Iowa back in 1993. It is a very early California built 1946 WDX model. At the time, it was owned by a gentleman from Nevada - I believe his name was Leland Paulson. Sometime later, the truck was for sale and was talked about on this forum as well as in the Power Wagon Advertiser magazine.

The next time I saw the truck was at the 2008 Iowa 80 Trucker's jamboree. Iowa 80 was by then the owner and they had already sanded the paint to a dull finish in order to apply their trademark red color. Image is of the truck at the Jamboree.
