Indiana is a BIG stickler for not having a title. It's getting harder and harder to get one- when I got one for a '69 VW some years ago, it was a total pain in the butt, and I HAD the title for the car- it had been messed up and not sent in after transfer. It took around $300 to get it all straightened out.
However, if someone were to buy the '66 in the ads, and get me to sell my '54 (with a clear title) plus all of the extra parts I have accumulated, they'd end up with a good running and driving truck for around $6000... and a lot of extra parts!
