Well, my '56 Power Wagon actually runs ok. Leaks lots of oil and gets a bit warm when hot out, but it never over heats. When I drained the block the drain was plugged with sediment... So today I pulled out a perfectly good transmission and clutch. Tomorrow I'll drain the vital fluids and I hope by this time next week I'll be dropping off the engine at the machine shop. So far so good, but it does look like the steering box has to come out to pull the engine? Not sure I see any way around that.
