It is with a heavy heart that I pass on some bad news, (typically late too) My good friend and once lead attorney in my case against the US Forest Circus, Grant Gerber, passed away in late October from injuries resulting from an accident with his horse in Kansas while riding from Nevada to Washington DC with petitions from Nevada ranchers regarding reforms to the land grazing issues. Grant stepped up to the plate for me early in the 2000s when the forest circus tried to convict me for driving my power wagon over a washed out county road. When it was all said and done, Grant had formed a team of 5 different lawyers (from various off road and other groups) to defend me plus two federal defense lawyers! All were pro-bono! Grant died while doing what he loved standing up for the rights on the hard working individuals against the tyranny of our government. Grants memory will live on in the Jarbidge Campground that he and a small group ( including myself)purchased out from under the forest circus! I pass my deepest sympathy to his entire family and will forever be grateful for his service to me.
