This is one of the best conversations i have read in a while, i have laughed many times.....
it has been 60-70 deg. here and aside from 2 really cold days in November i am starting to think winter is done....
while i know that many natural disasters do happen all over, it really has become like crying wolf for the gov and media.
I remember in 1983 when we had many feet of snow and then every thing thawed and we had many feet of water... my grandfathers farm was flooded by the Great Salt Lake, and then they built these huge expensive pumps to drain the lake into the dessert..... only to abandon them after the task was done....
a few years ago some one noticed that the pumps were all crap from not being cleaned after use, so we spent a bunch more $ to get them repaired, just in case....
and now people are water skiing on our mountain lakes instead of ice fishing like we should be in Dec.
