Sure is more work then I remembered last time I did a truck. Starting at one end and taking it to bare is a lot of work to do. Time to keep track of the labor. Figure I have 3 good days into the sanding part and a ton more to go. Frame is going to be fun I will sand blast it with my pressure washer and sand attachment. Uses 3200 PSI water blast with sand injected at the nozzle tip. Keeps the metal cool and cuts the grease at the same time with the high pressure water. You go thru a lot of sand. I think I used at least 1,000 lbs doing the last one. I can also do the cab this way and save a bunch of time. You still have to sand but not near as much. A fine wire brush will polish the metal clean and smooth again to get rid of flash over from the water.
