Boy I wonder how many people bust these taking them off. Took a long time to get it off but I did it. Had to drill out 2 bolts and the one behind the carb under the manifold is not fun either! I almost forgot that one glad I checked first!! I knew there was a hidden bolt from a long time ago just had to find it. I am going to tear the block down to bare next. Neat carb with the square base and governor on it. Sad this engine was complete just got some water in it but the head gasket was good. Not much of a ridge on the walls. Might be able to save the block if I am careful. Wish I had a manual but I don't so the work is from memory.
