Just make a bed out of sheetmetal. It does not matter if it does not look right because cutting that 3rd series bed up and patching it together wont look right either. I'll give you a set of trailer fenders if it will keep you from cutting up a perfectly good Power Wagon bed. Sell it to someone who can use it.
