Yes. Many of the Sandpoint residents are still fired up about it. Of course the "investigation" was done by Cd'A police, and they determined nothing was done wrong.
Remember the old minister in Spokane a few years ago who came out of his house with a 45 stuck in his waist band to see why there were cop cars in his yard? He was shot while taking the gun out to lay it down, as instructed, even holding the gun in a way it couldn't be fired. The shooting was still called "justifiable" by the other PD that did the investigation.
