A 12 year old boy with a bb gun that looks an automatic handgun was shot yesterday by a cop in Ohio. A couple of months ago a 35 year old 120# mother was shot and killed by 2 cops here in Sandpoint because she had gone mental and was verbally threatening people with a knife in her hand. Aren't these guys taking their jobs a little too far? They have pepper spray and tasers that could be used before the guns. Why would a woman have to be shot from 15-20' away when all she has is a knife?
