My biggest concern is when the computers eventually DO BECOME SAFER and make fewer errors than humans. Then, the argument could easily be made: computers and self driving vehicles save lives, so how can we allow these fools to drive themselves around, and risk hurting / killing themselves and others? Further, older vehicles are not compatible with the newer highway / vehicle communication safety systems, so older vehicles should be phased out and eventually illegal to drive on public roads. I'm just saying, this is how Big Brother thinks and works. It may be that far out in time.
