Hi Perry:

No, that control bracket was used on some 2 wheel drive Dodge trucks from the 1940s and/or 1950s but not on a Power Wagon from the factory. It was added to the "for sale" Power Wagon by a thoughtful owner.

I have two such brackets on my 1947 Power Wagon, one on each side of the steering column, but mine are recessed 2 inches further back (closer towards the firewall) than the one on the truck for sale. Recessing the brackets (use a thin steel mounting plate for each bracket) keeps the control knobs from sticking out too far into the driver's compartment when they are pulled out to be in their "on" position.

On my truck, the left side bracket has 2 toggle switches with illuminated plastic toggles that light up when the switch is turned on. I used yellow for the cab marker light switch and blue for the backup light switch. Between them is the vintage metal red knob on the PTO cable control.

The right side bracket on my truck holds the heater switches: Fan on/off and speed, temperature control, and windshield vent open/close. By using this bracket I didn't have to drill new holes in my PW's center dash panel for these heater controls.

Being made for Dodge trucks, these brackets look great and fit like a glove. Visit your local junk yard and pick up a few, you'll be glad you did! :)
