Hi Jerry. I think we may have corresponded about this once before, but most of my emails were lost in the big computer melt down over a year ago.

The pickup beds on the Power-Wagons were parallel to the frame, as were the cabs and running boards - all parallel to the frame. This caused shims (washers) to be used under the radiator cowling to bring the radiator up to the correct level to line up the hood with the cab. Bring up the radiator also tilts the front of the fenders up and into alignment as the fenders mount to the radiator cowling.

Just from the photo, it looks like your frame may be hogged in the middle. But I would have to see it in person. Camera angles can really fool the eye. Am I remembering correctly that your truck had a pole derrick or an A-frame on it at one time?

The only other thing that I can think of with seeing it in person is that the wooden blocks go only under the front corners of the cab. No wooden blocks at the back corners - only thin (1/4" to 3/8") fiber pads between the cab and frame brackets at the rear corners.

Sorry is all of this has been covered before. Been somewhat out of the loop for some time now.

Junior
