Outer u joint at the wheel

We have found this when replacing the outer u joint on All trucks not just Mopars. The ends of the axle were the u joint is installed closes in on itself and when you install the joint you can not get the little C clip to slide into the grove. So with a little grinding and open them up with a porta power u then can install the clip. Used our press to remove the joint and boy did it pop when it finally came lose. Those buggers are tight and rusty. Have fun. Bill.
