i even go as far as putting uv protected poliester gloss coats on my eps(but the epxy has to be sanded and etched with alcohol to get a decent bond as epxy poliester don t stick to well to epxy(epxy sticks like made to poliester tho) epoxy surfboards to keep it from yellowing further as the uv protected poliesters yellow less than epoxy

so by that line of thinking i may also be able to cover the epoxy with uv protected clear coat laquer or some such for more protection as you may be referring to the possibility of the epoxy loosing it s intergrity from the uv rays of the sun

i have got some of my clear epxy on some burglar bars, it s been there for two or three years now and i really can t see any yellowing course i wanted the golden look and i let the bars just start to rust and then covered em with epoxy--looks pretty cool and is still there--how long it will be there is anybodies guess--and sorry for the long psot
