I had a 52 International "leventy-twelve" (L-112), which is a long bed version of the common L-110. Even though it's a 4x2, it had really low gearing. I made spending money in high school hauling trash to the dump and bringing back barkdust and gravel for folks. Made arrangements to pull small stumps when I had a load of gravel in it for traction. I never did any real offroading in it, other than urban landscaping duties. The only problem I had with this truck is girlfriends did not want to make out in it for some reason. My love life improved when I bought a car.
