If you have the Budd wrench, put a bar through the hole, put a pipe over that for extra length. Make sure a small length of the bar extends beyond the Budd wrench.

You will now need a friend, with a hammer or heavy mallet.

While you pull or push on the bar in the correct direction, have your friend stike the extension of the bar on the other side of the Budd wrench. This additional shock while the nut is already under tension should do the trick. It has worked for me many times.

Note: I have a Budd wrench with a combined tire iron, wrench bar. The flat end of the tire iron is ideal for the opposite end. It makes a perfect target for the mallet.

Also note: A rubber mallet would be useless here. I have one of those cast iron/raw hide mallets. It works great. A dead-blow mallet would probably be good too. Then there's the ball peen ...

Stiking the same side in the same direction will also work but tends to knock the wrench off the nut.
