Eerily similar to what I'm doing right now. I'm resurrecting a '57 CJ5, well sort of. Seeing how the entire bottom of the orignal tub is gone due to rust I'm putting on A really nice rust free but already altered M38A1 tub. It's already been cut for a tailgate and had the battery box removed so I don't feel too guilty about not restoring the A1. Plus the CJ already has a Buick 231, rancho springs, Saginaw steering, full cage, so it wasn't exactly a good cadidate for resto either! Anyway, this CJ38A1 is destined for my wife as a birthday gift, she puts up with my cars/trucks/motorcycles but she really loves jeeps, so...
