Well, lets see how we do without a picture

Steps

1. Free play between the side of the anchor clip (Band braket) and side of the band (in the box) should be .005. Place band in a vice and compress to tighten.

2. The small spring goes in the center hole of the anchor clip. Compress the spring and slide the band over the clip.

3. You should have a small bolt with a hole in its head (5/16x3/4) or so. Screw that into the clip.

4. You should have a long adjusting bolt (3/8 or 7/16)(hook in one end). You should have two spring of equal size. One goes above the center bracket to force the band up, and one below the center bracket to force the band down. Slip the adjusting bolt through the top of the band through the spring and center braket an through the spring and bottom of the band.

5. You should have a 5/16 pin that goes through the cams and bolt hook. Feed end with a hole in the end toward passenger side and place washer and carter key, then spread key.

6. You should have a large short spring. Place that below the bottom band over the bolt. There should be two lock nuts and washer for the adjusting bolt. Those go below the spring to hold it all in place and to adjust the band.

7. You should have a bracket adjusting screw (1/4x4.5) or so with two locking nut. Place this screw through the bottom band and through the center bracket. Nuts should be on top of center bracket and head below bottom band.

Now for adjustment:

1. Turn the anchor screw in or out until you have .015 to .030 between band and drum.

2. Run mechanics wire throught bolt and band to lock bolt in place.

3. Adjust the centering bolt to have .015 to .030 between bottom of band and drum, then lock nuts in place.

4. Tighten the large adjusting bolt until tension on the center braket Adjusting screw is just releived and lock and lock nuts.

Your ready to go!!
