If I remember correctly they technically became an American company when they combined because of the tax structure here. So I doubt it's all leaving for Europe any time soon. Most of the Chrysler cars are assembled in Canada and Mexico anyway.
No they're just getting rid of the pentastar logo officially. They've been moving away from it for years before Fiat bought them anyway. My 2005 uses the RAM head badge which is now truck only, and the newer cars use that Dodge// symbol. Only place you'll find a pentastar on my Magnum is hidden on some of the plastic parts. Of course the Magnum/300/Charger/Challenger are all basically derived from Mercedes Benz anyway, as are some of the SUVs.
