Test strips work well but they dont like moisture, gotta keep the cap tight, they also have an expiration date, I think like a couple years. They also tell you the acidity level and something else that i can't remember right now. They are more suited for diesel engines. I have a refractometer also. Its nice because I can also use it for testing battery specific gravity. Only drawback with it is, there are certain types of antifreeze it doesn't work with. Roy
