Clueless, I subscribed to the "all you need to do" school of thought with the 6bt in my 1/2 ton/WD21 combo. It didn't help I started with complete junk either. So far "all I need to do is cut the frame and lengthen it, reinforce whats left of the frame, move the cab back 6", raise the cab and bed 2.5" cut 4 front fenders and build 2, cut 4 hood sides and make 2, build custom engine trans and transfer case mounts,you get the idea. The engine was the cheap part, it's all the upgrades around it that get expensive. It was disheartening for awhile having something you know you can't drive for years and thousands of dollars down the road. But I have some motivation now that there's a driveline in a decent usable chassis.
