...or so it used to be. This was on CL, and it has a lot of parts that my 1/2t + 3/4t mess could use. This guy is beyond hope, so I don't feel bad taking it apart. It makes my current truck look really good.
I was going through it, and "admiring" the cab when I figured out what had been done to create the thing. At some point the sides of the original body has been cut out, and the roof folded down. So what was formerly the roof over the passengers/cargo area is now the back of the cab.
The frame is broken, rotted or gone everywhere from the mid point back. Rail-road track and C-channel replacements installed. Lots of welding on the front to support a plow, but I'm hoping I can clean these up and salvage what I need for the front of my current frame. Motor is from a B truck, but the rest of the front end stuff (radiator, mount, grill) is nice 1/2t stuff and what I need to bring my junker back. Firewall is in better shape too.
So I guess my sickness is growing.
