You need to move to idaho. Sometimes I have to winch my truck up my driveway. And it's not even winter yet.
Seriously, I have done plenty of creek crossing in trucks in the past, but I avoid it now. I knew a guy who tried it in a jeep p.u. When the water killed the engine, he opened the door to get out. The water rushed in, turned the truck on it's side, and he drowned. The creek was less than 3' deep.
