66 was the last year for single reservoir master cylinders and remote boosters on light duty trucks. the Federal law kicked in in 67 requiring all cars and light duty trucks to have dual circuit master cylinders and that is when ford and dodge (probably same for GM and IH) started using the firewall mounted booster. The exception was the WM300 used dual remote mounted boosters in 67.
