Well i been out tinkerin around today since im missing Eds rally. Figured id start tearin into the winch.
Lot worse than i thought. I could tell the passenger side sharft bracket was bent and the drivers side frame extension was bent. I took the drum and power head off. The rear angle winch base is bent. The cable guide bolt at the end of the cable guides is bent. And of course the typical bending and twisting of the bumperettes is there. The cable guides themselves look straight.
Do i remember correctly someone was remaking the bumperettes and frame extensions? Anyone else have any spare winch parts? I havent even started gettin in to the gear box yet so not sure what im gonna need there, but with the amount of damage done to exterior parts i can imagine what the inside is gonna look like.
Any help with exterior parts would be appreciated. I onow VPW has it all but im hoping to find some of it a little cheaper or from someone that has it layin around and doesnt need it
