More musings on Weber carb conversions

I just got the Weber slant-6 conversion kit from Redline, to put a 38 mm synchronous 2-barrel on our old Mine Tour trolley. Will install it next week after they close for the season and will let everyone know how it works. But what was interesting is the 2-barrel to 2-barrel adapter they provide. It matches the 230 manifold perfectly, including the exact same bore diameter, and can be turned 90 deg for convenience in mounting. I'm thinking the 32/36 progressive version slant-6 kit would be the right place to start for a 230 adaptation. It seems to come with lots of options for the linkage so the only question would be jetting.
