Ya know, I kinda thought that too, the truck was used as a wrecker up in Mineral County, Colorado, and the guy I bought it from had modified the whole frame, and I'm guessing he beefed up the braking system as well. So, when I rebuilt it back in 2004, I just went with what was installed, and never looked back...it worked, so...I didn't fix it...JET
