I didn't have four guys so I needed to get creative. :) The engine hoist is a Harbor Freight two ton unit. Plenty of lift capacity for the cab. Unfortunately, I was not on a hard surface, not even level ground. So, I needed to use plywood sheets to roll the hoist around. Not real elegant, but it worked surprisingly well. I could probably have lifted the cab by myself if it were on a hard, level surface. It was nice to have an extra set of eyes and hands though.
I totally understand about the "get it running and drive it" thing. I too went down that rabbit hole.
