So in the mean time, I was taking long looks at the truck as it sat in the driveway. The paint is pissing me off. The bed is a different color than the cab, as many have seen. Well today it got to me. Drove it to the paint guy, and of course he wasn't there. But talked to his assistant. Told him i want the bed repainted to match the cab. We'll see what happens when he tells the boss.
Mean time, the drive there and back was at no more than third gear. Seems the death shimmy is back. So I got frustrated, came home, jacked it up, took all four rims off the truck, deflated the tires and broke em all down. Re mounted the tires back on the original split ring rims. By then it was dark and for some reason non of my lights are working so I couldn't go for a test drive. Hafta wait til friday when I get home from work.
As much as I like the looks of combat rims, I just never got excited about how they looked on my truck. Others they are perfectly fine, but I don't like em on mine. So I think Ill offer em up to anyone on here that wants em. Email me and we can talk. What Id really like is a full set of date stamped 48 split rings rims. All my combats are date stamped 43.
