I've just been told stories of woe by folks who learned the hard way or who had shops learn the hard way. I was standing next to one guys truck in his mechanics shop and he told me an LA cam in a poly was why we couldn't drive his truck. Someone here would know the exact difference and how the engine would act. I was just throwing out a wild guess in case you were chasing an engine that can't start.
