72-74 NP435 output W200 vs W300

I have a 74 W300 w/a 440/727/ divorced 205 transfer case. I bought the truck many yrs ago not running. I would like to drop in a 360/NP435 4-speed. Finding a 360/435 combo out of a early 70's W200 is do-able. Finding one out of a W300 might be impossible.

I know the drive shaft and U-joint assemblies on the W300 are larger than the W200.
Is the actual output shaft on the W300's 435 larger too? If not, can I just have a W300 U-joint yoke welded onto the end of a W200 435 output shaft?

Maybe I should just go out and measure the W300's 727 output shaft! Duh.
