I don't think there is any difference. I would keep it stock for now you can always change later. I am pretty sure there was only one master whether it had the frame mounted hydravac or not. if the hydravac is leaking you can easily bypass it until you have time to get it rebuilt. those hydravacs work really well. on my D300s I actually put a valve in the vacuum supply and have it off unless loaded. works too well unloaded in the D series
