For curiosity's sake, I contacted a company that can produce data plates. I was interested in reproducing the No Spin plate, as well as a Lock Right plate - since that is what is available now. Many Dodgers have the Lock Right now, and a few have the No Spin. I thought there might be interest in such data plates for the glove box door.
Tom Petroff was kind enough to send me a No Spin sticker to send to the company for them to use as a guide.
I have a Lock right, but have not had it installed yet.
The company got back to me and sent me some pics. I thought they looked good and show them here.
The not so good part is the price. I was quoted about $400 for the NoSpin and $500 for the Lock Right since it is different.
A lot of the cost is for the set-up and I wonder if the price would drop significantly for a run of these.
I think the company makes one of a kind things like this for high dollar vehicles, but am not sure.
Anyway, I was interested in seeing what kind of interest there is in these, notwithstanding the price I was quoted.
