That was NBC Dateline. But, the bottom line was that the trucks did actually leak gas when hit from the side and could catch fire in real life accidents because of the poorly designed tanks.
I wonder if the fuel tank in the cab of the Dodge truck was responsible for more than its share of deaths and fires? Would any manufacturer build a truck nowadays with the fuel tank in the cab?
