Thanks Dave. Good to know my setup is correct. Except I had a 90 degree elbow with a steel fuel line going straight down from the glass filter at the carb. I probably should go straight out like you even further away from the intake by the hood vents.

I'll have to see if I can find a ceramic filter rather than the paper one in my glass bowl. Those are probably better.

I'm sure it doesn't help that I'm at 5,500 ft altitude as well.
