Gates Barricade is designed to withstand any fuel you are likely to encounter. I wish they would stop selling the cheap stuff. If you don't ask for quality hose, you'll likely get junk from your average parts store-even though they probably stock quality hose for just a few cents more per foot.
Contamination could also be coming in with your new fuel. It could be emulsified or diluted when you pump it , and settling out in your tank. I've see that many times with dirty transfer tanks or even a poorly maintained retail station.
