Looks like the engine code was used for the vin
the real vin# you will need to understand your WC is on the frame rail near the front driver side tire, some times hard to read but it should be there. My WC-12 actually has a command car frame based on this # and minor differences.
My WC-4 frame has part of this # covered by a welded plate for reinforcement, which means i will have to carefully cut that off to get the whole #.
This # is your best source for information when you compare it to the dodge master parts book. the one i borrowed has way in-depth break down of the parts and components and has part#'s for all of it.
