The Bendix Weiss should turn very easy, more so than the tracta joint. Getting the balls back in the joint is lake a bar puzzle. Get everything just right and they go right in. I use the Bendix Weiss on my trucks.
I am wondering if one of the brass bushings broke up and some pieces of brass got in the joint allowing it to only turn one way.
When I took my W300 knuckles apart, I found a broken outer brass bushing, that had cracked and pieces were the knuckle. Lucky, I did not have any binding, but could sure see how it could bind.
