I've been checking the re-checks (but sometimes it takes five times). I'm "sure" the wires are in the correct order. They are new, along with cap, rotor and I'm pretty sure points and condenser. But I'll do those for sure also.
I haven't had a chance to do the spark test in complete dark, but if this storm moves out I will.
Will also look at the vacuum, I assume from the manifold might provide something interesting?
