As suggested, I went back to basics, starting with checking the points. It seemed correct, but I set it again to be sure. Went to start - magic happened. It started and ran for about 10 minutes until I killed it. I was revving it, letting it drop down, vroom-vroom. All six cylinders operating in perfect harmony. Idle a bit, then more gass. Vroom-vroom. It got hot, the oil pressure dropped down to about 25, and she still went vroom-vroom. So shut it down.

Not wanted to be a one trick pony, I went to start it, and I got the big nothing. Pulled a plug, happy days again. Six, nope.

Then I had to abandon ship due to a heavy thunderstorm ruining my fun. So maybe I just have to set the points every time I start it?
