The rivets had a nice rolled edge on the inside of the door post and one part was cast rubber. The holes where evenly spaced and pretty much impossible to drill like that , unless it was done during assemble, before the skin went on.
But is seems redundant to me , why have two pieces of rubber hitting each other?
If the door does not open far enough I will have a little cry and rip the new pads out.
