I have been reviewing the thread and at it again. I have two batteries and a charger/quick starter and it does not start with all plugs in. I started it without a plug and let it run, then I went to reinsert the plug and it died even before I get to start screwing it in, so it is very sensitive to the pressure it seems (aka the "valve" test). Before that I tried starting it w/ the #6 plug wire removed but plug still in but the bolt which is directly over the cylinder removed - no start.

So it seems to be the pressure really is triggering the problem.

Could it be that everything is too tight after the new bearings/rings and/or the pre-lube stuff (I put in some heavy oil stuff on the bearings. Also the oil pressure is at 50#.

Should I let it run on 5 cylinders until the OP comes down? Any dangers with a slowly chugging new-rebuild on 5 cylinders?

Thanks,

don
