Have a look at a Yellow Sea unit for marine use. Good price and much cheaper than many after market automotive fuse panels.
As to wire, avoid the cheap vinyl imported poop and try and get the good stuff. trailer wire works great for the rear tail lights. That is the 7 wire stuff that comes wrapped in a heavy black single outer layer.
