Yes, they're obviously confused.

Interesting coincidence in that article. It was datelined "Cape Henlopen" NJ. One of the few WW2 landing craft still working in the civilian world is LST-510, which took part in the Normandy invasion. It runs from Orient Point, (Long Island) NY to New London, CT for the Cross Sound Ferry company. After the war, it was named "Cape Henlopen."

Maybe they'd like to add it to their collection of military vehicles. It's got to be one of the largest moving objects from that war still in existence and able to propel itself.

Power Wagon content: She was repowered a few years ago with a pair of EMD Diesels. Paul (in NY) didn't do the conversion, though.
